The cool part about the fountain is that there are opening right underneath this big basin...and because it's not on and its dried out right now...there were kids hanging out in there....it was fun to watch.

The other thing I love about NYC...there are a lot of old churches like this everywhere. And like DC they're randomly placed throughout the city..surrounded by modern stuff. I think this one is on 5th Ave across the street from Tiffany's!

It's so gorgeous. There's more stuff behind the alter...and on either side are shrines to a lot of the major Saints. There's candles everywhere. It's gorgeous.
